Seasonal Produce

Produce in season that is naturally fresh will always be better tasting than food preserved and transported vast distances…
To complement our normal product range we try to stock as many seasonal products as possible.
We firmly believe it is better for the environment and everyone from consumer to producer, if we can get closer to a natural pattern of food supply rather than relying on all products to be on the shelf, all year round, regardless of what country they might have to be sourced from out of season.
And of course, seasonal produce can bring fantastic variety and new ideas to our kitchens and menus.
Fresh local produce

Local food means low food miles.
We constantly strive to bring you the best of Sussex food.
We endeavour to source a large proportion of our fruit and vegetables from local producers.
We try to stock a wide range of Vegetables and Fruit from the basic to the more exotic from further afield, but we are always conscious of supporting local producers and wherever possible of course stocking out own fruit and Vegetables.
